Social work recognises that may issues can contribute to stress and anxiety within families and that support and advice can help ease the transition. Social Work can support you to manage issues that affect parenting such as: pregnancy/baby loss and birth trauma, unexpected birth outcomes, young parents, relationship and family issues, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, anxiety and depression, social isolation, financial issues, personal coping and trauma and adjusting to parenting and significant life changes. The service is provided free and confidential, if Bayside Social Work Services are unable to help your directly with a service, they will ensure you can be referred to other services that will meet your needs.
