Baby Triple P, Research participation request

Do you have a baby between 2 and 8 months of age? Does your baby have persistent difficulties with crying, fussing, sleep, sleep, and settling? Researchers at The University of Queensland want to find ways to support parents in managing these difficult behaviours and increase their sense of confidence as a parent.

This study aims to examine the usefulness of Baby Triple P, specifically for parents of infants who experience persistent difficulties with crying, fussing, sleep and settling.  https://exp.psy.uq.edu.au/babycrysleep/

Participation in this study is voluntary and anonymous. You are free to withdraw from this study at any time without prejudice or penalty. There are no costs associated with participation in this study.

Tactile learning through playdough

Have you tried storytelling with playdough? Playdough is a great way for your child to learn through play. From helping you make it, playing with it and using it in imaginative play, there are so many benefits.

Public Holidays and Annual Leave Parents often call the office to ask “Do I have to pay for a public holiday?” and “What about when my educator is on leave?”  Charging practices are commercial decisions made independently by individual child care service providers and are not a matter regulated by family assistance law. This includes the widely-used practice of charging for public holidays that fall on your regular booked day. This practice is used by child care service providers because child care workers, like most employees, are entitled to be paid for public holidays when they would otherwise be at work. Please refer to your contract from your educator for terms and conditions.
